It is essential for the dog owner to take the veterinarian for diagnosing the health problem and providing it with the proper treatment. Dog vomit is also not the sign of the dog always being sick. Vomiting is the result of intake of foreign materials or because of eating too fast. If the vomiting is accompanied by fever then it is infection and proper treatment has to be provided to the dogs.

Dog otitis is another problem faced by the dogs is the inflammation of ears that is one of the common problems that are faced by dogs. Production of wax in ears, inflammation, unpleasant smell and constant shaking of head are some of the common reasons that can be seen in dogs having otitis. The inflammation also increases the risk if infection.

I took my dog to the groomers and to the vet on Tuesday. She had three routine shots at the vet and they tested her for worms. A few hours after we brought her home she started shaking and vomiting and appeared to be very weak and tired. I took her back to the vet on Wednesday and they said she may be reacting to her shots and the stress of the day. She was running a slight fever. It is now the third day and she is still vomiting and shaking and sleeps a lot. She's not acting like herself at all. I don't feel that it's a reaction to the shots. I'm going to call the vet again this morning as soon as they open but I am really worried. Thanks to those of you that gave a concerned answer.

I have a yorkie and he has been throwing up and shaking like he is cold since last night.. he has an appointment at the vet at 330.. i told them all his symptoms and they said he should be fine until then.. is there anything i can do to keep him more comfortable until then? Any ideas what may have caused him to be sick?

My dog has thrown up 7x in the last hour and a half. She is shaking. The last time she threw up it appeared to be bright red (blood?) mixed with foamy bile. I can touch her tummy and she doesn't whine or anything. She is breathing kind of heavily. Help?!?!

Dog vomiting and shaking head?
I have a 5 month old pit bull (american terrier) male. He is a wonderful dog, but He is sick. Before you say "GO TO THE VET!" I already KNOW that. But it is Sunday and I am in a rural area, so that is not possible. He is having some symptoms that COULD be parvo like but no bloody poo and it has been since friday night and the symptoms have stayed the same. And he is drinking LOTS of water, which dogs with parvo generally dont do, they usually dont eat or drink anything. He is still moving around, but slow and pitiful, his head is bobbling at random, like it will bobble for a few minutes and then stop. He keeps his head up as if when he lays it down he feels like puking. He is drooling excessively and and vomiting every drop that he takes in. He will not eat, I force fed chicken broth and gatorade with a bulb syringe, just to get him thru till I can go to the vet. I also have a shot of penicillin I am going to give him in the meantime. I am asking you to please dont be rude I have noticed that people on here get very judgemental and 'YOU shouldnt have a dog!" and all this other crap that I dont want to hear. i came hear for help, if your not going to give it then myob. thanks.

Threw out 2 week old cooked hamburger to dog. 3 hrs. later dog is shaking and vomiting. Vets are all closed. Of course these things only happen on the weekends.
