You don't want to spend a lot of money for private lessons, but still want to train your dog to civilized behavior, right? Keep reading and I'll show you how and where you can find all those answers and fix yor barking dog problems.
When we talk about barking as a behavior Dog Problems, we mean barking that's nuisance barking, which is disruptive and annoying. Listen carefully to your dog's bark and you'll discover that the barks have different meanings. Many dogs will give an alarm bark when someone enters pack territory. They are far more tuned in to the environment than we are. It's possible that the dog is aware of activity that the humans don't know about and is responding to that. This is normal.
Some dogs, however, bark at nothing: out of sheer boredom or stress at being left alone. The barking can get excessive, to the point of neighbor complaint. This type of behavior dog problem needs the holistic approach of increasing the dog's exercise and obedience training to provide mental stimulation for the dog.
Remember, the punishment rarely works to fix your barking dog problems and can make the situation even worse by increasing the dog's anxiety. Often, teaching the dog to bark on command can go a long way toward preventing barking Dog Problems. Barking on command puts the owner in control and allows the owner to tell the dog when to turn it off.
With highly territorial dogs, prevention might be the best option to solve the barking Dog Problems. Block their view of activities that are likely to turn on a bark fest.
Since some barking dog problems are also brought on by boredom, make sure the dog is exercised daily. Dogs that get enough exercise and mental stimulation rarely sit around barking all day.
In some cases, bringing the dog inside the house can solve the barking dog problems. After the dog has been moved indoors, obedience trained, and exercised appropriately, a corrective antibark collar may be a reasonable option if the problem still fails to resolve. Training should always be the first option.

Please help us out-dog problems?
Okay, so we have 2 Bichon Frise dogs, one is 4 and the other is 2. The 2 yr old has some anxiety issues (manically barking, squealing, crying like he's being beaten up when he sees other dogs etc etc) but the main problem is that he constantly pees on the beds. It's too much to be marking his territory, and he only ever does it when we're not in the room. He's peed on my parents bed 4 times this week, and has yet to get to my bed. We've tried everything to get him to stop but nothing has worked. The dogs have newspapers and pee mats to pee on when they need to, and thats always accessable for them. We also take them out frequently. We have no problems with our older dog, just the 2 yr old. Does anyone know why he could be doing this, or how to get him to stop? We suspect it has something to do with his anxiety, but we're not sure and we're at the end of the line in knowing what to do about it.
Thanks in advance :)

Dog problems, need professional oppinion.?
Ok, here goes.. I have a four month old baby (human) and a 4 year old pitbull. The pitbull has bitten a small dog before (sounds bad but pretty minor). The dog has never been aggressive to humans. our daughter is starting to move around and sometimes kicks the pittbull. The pitbull recently did a little growl once getting kicked, and it made my wife nervous. Were not sure what to do. We love the dog and believe she would never do anything. She has some strange tendencies: she licks a lot (obsesivly), and shes sort of skiddish sometimes (not towards people but random inatimate objects). She is kind of a strange dog, but very loving. My wife is balling over the idea of the possibility of getting rid of her, or where she would even go. I was also wandering if there was any sort of medicine that could help our dog, like a doggy xanax. I dont know what were going to do , but I really would like a professional oppinion. Thank you
