Dog Information
Common Dog Information
Your dog is considered as one of the most popular around the world. Basically, a dog is loyal to a kind master and due tot his has been thought of as man's best friend. For a dog, class distinction or race is not important. It can be a loyal companion to a master who is either rich or poor.
For the most part of human history, the dogs have been tamed and domesticated. Over the years, this made them all the more endearing to us humans. There are stories that depict how brave dogs served in war or even sacrificed their lives to help people in danger. For example, when Pompeii, an ancient Roman community that was destroyed when Mount Vesuvius erupted in 79 AD was excavated, archaeologists found some dog remains lying across a child, an obvious effort on the dog's part to protect its young master. There are probably a few million dogs that have been so heroic at the same time give delight to the people who own them.
Fitting easily into a household or a family life is common Dog Information. The reason dogs can adjust hassle-free into family life is because they thrive on affection as well as praise. Every time a master praises a dog, it gladly wags its tail in response. However, when a master scolds his pet, the dog goes away looking sheepishly and with the tail usually tucked between the legs.
Most people whether in the city or otherwise enjoy having dogs as pets. But for those living in cities, you may want to have a small or medium-sized dog because the larger ones need some exercise over a larger area.
In spite of these good things about dogs, during recent years some dog owners have been criticized for letting their pets soil their neighbor's lawns or sidewalks. There are some cities which made it a point to have the pet owners walk their dogs along sidewalks or street curbs. Dog owners still consider their pets as protection against burglars and vandals therefore protecting both the dog's detractors and owners at the same time.
Any person who decides to own a pet dog should be ready to take care if its needs. Dogs will only stay healthy provided they are fed correctly and groomed appropriately. Medical conditions or needs should not be ignored. If you would like a canine that is well-mannered, training should be in order. Dogs should not be mishandled or ill-treated because they may fight back by biting to defend itself. This is so because dogs, although these have been domesticated, descended directly from ancestors who were hunters. This is good Dog Information that pet owners should remember. The fact that dogs descended from hunters means that they have retained some of their wild instincts or instincts necessary for survival.
Dogs come in different sizes, colors and temperaments. Just the same way, most dogs can fit into a household without much problems provided you have studied their behavior before buying a pet dog.

How do i stop my dog from begging when I never reinforce it?
I have a well behaved siberian husky--who has 2 very bad problems ive been working on right now. One is kind of breed specific but i know how to deal with it and it's improving (coming when called in new places) while the other, i never even thought id have to deal with. Begging. I NEVER give dogs food from the table, i dont think i have in years. Yet, my family does. Ive shoved enough dog information down their throats that they dont give her most foods, but they still pass her meat. The odds of me somehow convincing them to stop is little to none- im a dog person, but im still a teenager in a family of hill billies that laughs at my opinion of dog training. "Dog begging is natural." It is embarassing to have her begging in other places, and the whimpering, hand nudging and blue eyed gaze is down right annoying. Id really like the behavior to STOP, but it cant imagine how it would as long as my parents and younger siblings dont stop giving rewards for it.

Can hospital/ med clinic call cops on you?
My dog bit my neighbor the other day. he went to the doctor on the same day. He promise that he wont sue whatsoever but a few days a ago two cops from the animal control came to my house to get my dog information so he wont be on quarantine. But i was just wondering who call. I asked the cop she didnt give me a direct answer more like "it could be the hospital or the person". I was just wondering can the hospital call animal control on you? because on the reoport there's only the victim information and not mine.

How would you name my blog?
I've decided I need to change the title of my blog http://www.packsandpaws.com to a new one.
The focus of packs and paws has shifted throughout the last two months and now I feel the name ?packs and paws? is not adequate anymore. Whereas in the past it was a blog of generic and varied dog information, I have now decided to change it specifically to things about life with dogs on the 21st century. In there I cover latest dog health trends, zen and well-being with dogs, lifestyle experiments with dogs and life wisdom in general.
Though ?packs and paws? was a good title for a generic blog in the past, I don?t think it fits the current blog?s focus well. I want to create a new title.
How would you re-word it? Can you suggest a new title?
