Nice Dog Boxer

Developed in Germany, the Boxer is a breed of stocky, medium-sized, short-haired dog. The coat is smooth and fawn or brindled, with or without white markings. Boxers are brachycephalic (they have broad, short skulls), and have a square muzzle, mandibular prognathism (an underbite), very strong jaws and a powerful bite ideal for hanging on to large prey. The Boxer was bred from the English Bulldog and the now extinct Bullenbeisser and is part of the Molosser group.

Boxers were first exhibited in a dog show for St. Bernards at Munich in 1895, the first Boxer club being founded the next year. Based on 2008 American Kennel Club statistics, Boxers are the sixth most popular breed of dog in the United States for the second year in a row-moving up in 2007 from the seventh spot, which they'd held since 2002-with 33, 548 new dog registrations during the year.

Appearance

The head is the most distinctive feature of the Boxer. The breed standard dictates that it must be in perfect proportion to the body and above all it must never be too light. The greatest value is to be placed on the muzzle being of correct form and in absolute proportion to the skull. The length of the muzzle to the whole of the head should be a ratio of 1:3. Folds are always present from the root of the nose running downwards on both sides of the muzzle, and the tip of the nose should lie somewhat higher than the root of the muzzle. In addition a Boxer should be slightly prognathous, i.e., the lower jaw should protrude beyond the upper jaw and bend slightly upwards in what is commonly called an underbite or "undershot bite".See more.........

Breaking a lease day after signing?
So these guys practically beg me to lease the place to them because they are at their familly, moved from TN, kid needs operation bla bla bla. I run a report and they score 3 out of 100 points, but they look very nice, very nice manners, so I think ok, bad stuff happens to everyone, let me give them a chance. So I ask for first and last month rent upfront and one month as a deposit. They fill the lease application, never state on it that they have dogs. We go over contract, I tell them that no pets allowed and show them the clause that I will charge them $500 initially and $50/day until they remove the pet from the property. They don't even flinch or ask anything. So we sign a lease and they send me 2 hours later an email that they have 2 dog (boxers) and that they would like to withdraw from the lease. To make matters worse, the previous tenant has broken the lease and moved out on good terms, i completely understand the reason, gave me 30 days notice and said that he will pay until the end of the lease or until I find the tenant. So now I am in a bad spot, if I break the above lease, and keep charging the old tenant and he finds out, I am breaking the law, and he can come after me. But these imbeciles that signed the lease yesterday, I don't want them to move in like this, problems from the start. So what do I do? Forgot to mention, since their lease starts today, they did not even get the keys yet. I have their cashiers check for 3 months too (first, last and deposit).

What happens if dog sat on stomach?
My mom and dad's dog-boxer (weighs about 80 lbs) just sat on my lap with half of the weight on my leg and part of him on my lower stomach. Is this going to hurt my baby? I don't have much pain but a tiny bit of an ache that seems to come and go. I have a lot fat there to begin with as I am fairly overweight. I'm 23 weeks. Thanks!

Boxer or Doberman ????????
I have a terrier mix dog with me for 2 years i'm planning to get a guard dog...Boxer and Doberman is in my list but i do not have any experienced in this 2 breed.. But i'm worry whether Boxer or Doberman will get along with my 2 years old terrier mix.. And which one is the better guard dog...

My dog had pups today and wont go outside to use the restroom, what do i do?
I took in my friends dog, boxer mastiff mix, because he could not care for her anymore. When i got her she was fine and we scheduled an appointment for her rabies shot and to be fixed. Well, before we got to the appointment date we noticed she was getting big and realized she was preggo. So this morning she gave birth and shes eating, drinking and being a great mommy but she wont leave the pups to go potty. Instead shes going on herself then attempting to clean her own mess. How can i make her leave the pups to go potty?
