Blood in Dog Stool - Home Remedies for Dogs

Discovering small amounts of blood in dog stool is very common in dogs.

* Add 2 or 3 cloves of garlic to your dog's dinner daily.
* Avoid feeding processed or packet feed to your dog.
* In the case of parasitic problems, worm the dog .
* Give the dog 3 or 4 smaller feeds instead of two big meals.
* White rice, cottage cheese and boiled spuds are great in the dogs diet.
* Maintain a bland and hypoallergenic diet with high fiber as a staple.

Although home remedies can assist you in controlling things proper veterinarian counseling sometimes becomes a necessity.

Don't wait if the clotting persists longer than 24 hours. Take a fresh example of stool to the veterinarian for professional diagnosis.
